Privacy policy

This policy explains what information we hold, why we hold it and the choices you have. It applies to this website, the trial form and the student, parent and teacher portal.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Information we collect

When you request a trial

Your name, WhatsApp number and/or email, country or time zone, the learner’s age group, the course, plan and teacher preference, the lesson language and anything you write in the message box. We use this only to arrange and follow up the trial lesson.

When you enrol

A portal account for the learner (and, where relevant, the parent) with name, email, contact number and country, the course and assigned teacher. Passwords are stored only in a securely hashed form; nobody at Midad can read them.

While you learn

Class times, attendance, lesson notes, practice records, learning progress and, for Hifz students, memorisation and revision records. Teachers can see records only for the learners they teach.

Fees

Invoices and records of payments received, including the payment method and a reference. If card payment is offered, it is processed by our payment provider; Midad never sees or stores your card number.

How we use it

  • To arrange trials, match teachers and schedule classes
  • To record progress and share it with the learner and parents
  • To issue invoices and record payments
  • To keep the service secure, for example by detecting repeated failed sign-in attempts

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in to the portal. It is removed when you sign out or after 12 hours. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and this website loads no third-party analytics, fonts or scripts.

Children

Information about children is provided by a parent or guardian, who can see their child’s records in the portal. We ask that young children take lessons in a shared room with an adult nearby.

Who can see your information

Midad administrators, and the learner’s own teacher for teaching records. Email notifications about new trial requests may pass through our email provider. We share information with others only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and for accounting records as required by law. Trial requests that do not lead to enrolment are deleted when no longer needed, or sooner on request.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or the information of a child in your care, at any time. Contact us on WhatsApp at +880 1873-675660 or by email at midadquraninstitute@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Security

The website and portal use encrypted connections. Access to records is limited by role, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and backups are kept securely.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
